In modern engineering environments, we have more tools, more data, and more automation than ever before. From Git and CI/CD pipelines to quality and observability platforms - and now AI-assisted development - the SDLC is evolving faster than ever. Yet, understanding what's actually happening inside our systems has become harder. In this talk, Emre shared a real story from his time as a DevOps engineer in a large-scale organization, where a visible bottleneck evolved into a distributed and invisible one. The session explores how automation solved one problem but introduced another: fragmented visibility across the SDLC - a challenge now amplified by AI-driven development.
